Overview
Animus can automatically sync your Twitter / X bookmarks into your library. Once connected, every tweet, thread, and piece of media you bookmark on Twitter is imported, fully processed, and made searchable — no manual saving required.
Setup
Open the Animus dashboard
Connect Twitter / X
Click Connect Twitter and sign in with your Twitter / X account. Animus uses OAuth so your password is never shared.
Enable auto sync
Toggle Auto Sync Bookmarks to on. Animus will begin importing your existing bookmarks and watch for new ones automatically.
You can trigger a manual sync at any time from the Integrations page by clicking Sync now.
How it works
Once connected, Animus periodically checks your Twitter bookmarks for new additions and imports them automatically. Syncing happens in the background — you don’t need to keep the app open.

How often does Animus sync?
Animus checks for new bookmarks periodically throughout the day. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time.
Will it import my existing bookmarks?
Yes. When you first connect, Animus imports your existing Twitter bookmarks.
Can I disconnect my account?
Yes. Go to Integrations in the dashboard and click Disconnect next to Twitter. Your already-imported content stays in your library.
Does this work with Twitter / X likes?
Currently, auto sync supports bookmarks only. Likes support may be added in the future.
