Overview
Animus gives you a unique email address that turns forwarded emails into saved content. Any email you forward is scanned for links — each URL is automatically added to your library, fully processed and searchable. No apps, no extensions — just forward an email and your links are saved.Setup
Open the Animus dashboard
Go to the Integrations page in the Animus web app and find Email Saves.
Enable Email Saves
Click Connect to activate the feature. Animus generates a personal save address for you (e.g.
a1b2c3d4@save.animus.so).How it works
When you forward an email to your save address, Animus extracts all URLs from the subject line and body, filters out tracking links and images, and saves each unique URL to your library. Up to 10 links per email are processed.Allowed senders
By default, emails from any sender are accepted. To restrict who can save to your library:- Open the Email Saves settings on the Integrations page.
- Add email addresses to the Allowed senders list.
- Once at least one sender is added, only emails from those addresses are processed.
Regenerating your address
If your save address is compromised or you want a fresh one, click Regenerate on the Email Saves settings page. This instantly invalidates the old address and creates a new one — no emails sent to the previous address will be processed.FAQ
